The Buffalo Bills added to their wide receiver room on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL draft, selecting UConn's Skyler Bell 125th overall in the fourth round. Bell, at 5'11 5/8" and 192 pounds, played both inside and outside during a massive 2025 campaign for the Huskies. Among all conferences in the FBS, he finished second in receiving yards (1,278), fourth in receptions (101), and third in receiving touchdowns (13).

He played 427 snaps out wide and 221 in the slot, according to Pro Football Focus. He's a guy who excels after the catch and makes sudden breaks while route-running due to quick acceleration. Bell, who started his collegiate career at Wisconsin in 2021, will be 24 years old as a rookie.

One of the knocks on him is that he is undersized, but he overcomes that mostly with quickness and body control. Bottom line Bell should help round out a wide receiver room that features Khalil Shakir, D. J.

Moore, Joshua Palmer, and Keon Coleman. If general manager Brandon Beane's goal was to find value in the middle rounds, then he succeeded. Bell was widely projected to be picked in the third round after posting numbers that had him ranked in the top-three among all FBS WRs.
