Former Steeler Breiden Fehoko calls draft an 'absolute disaster'

Through four rounds, the Pittsburgh Steelers 2026 NFL Draft has been a mixed bag. In the first round, the Steelers got caught not paying attention and missed a perfect chance to draft a blue-chip prospect. The team seemed to rally on Friday night with wide receiver Germie Bernard but then things went a little sideways when the team opted for Penn State quarterback Drew Allar and Georgia cornerback Daylen Everett.
The team seemed to rally last with fan favorite, offensive lineman Gennings Dunker and then kicked off Day Three with another Hawkeye, wide receiver Kaden Wetjen. Not a perfect draft but we do like it better than former Steelers defensive lineman Breiden Fehoko. He took to X and called the Steelers draft through the fourth round an absolute disaster aside from the pick of Bernard.
I love Omar Khan but outside of Germie Bernard this draft has been an absolute disaster. — Breiden Fehoko (@BreidenFehoko) April 25, 2026 We originally felt like the pick that would polarize the fanbase was the Iheanachor pick. But that will be long forgotten now that the Steelers have a rookie quarterback in the fold.
Especially a Penn State quarterback. Hopefully, the team can finish strong in the fifth and seventh rounds and make Fehoko feel better about the team going forward. This article originally appeared on Steelers Wire: Former Steeler Breiden Fehoko calls draft an 'absolute disaster'
