The Ohio State women's tennis team beat UCLA 4-2 to on Saturday to advance to the Big Ten Tournament final Sunday.

The Ohio State women's tennis team will be playing for a Big Ten Tournament championship on Sunday after disposing of UCLA , 4-2, in a semifinal on Saturday. The Buckeyes shared the regular season title with USC and Michigan , and went into the tournament as the No. 1 seed.

Winning the tournament title would be a great double dip and set OSU apart from the others. It didn't start out very well for the Scarlet and Gray, however, because they lost the doubles point to go down 1-0, asking the singles to do some significant work to win and advance against a UCLA team the Buckeyes beat 4-0 earlier in the season. No worries.

Nao Nashino evened things up 1-1 when she made quick work on court one, winning 6-1, 6-0 on court four. Luciana Perry followed quickly after with another straight-set win, taking care of things on court one, 6-4, 6-3 to give Ohio State the 2-1 advantage. That would be short-lived because the Bruins got one back to even the score at 2-2, but then Sophia Cisse-Ignatiev won a tiebreaker in set two ((7-6, (4)) for a straight-set victory to put OSU in clinching position, up 3-2.

The match was polished off on court five when Audrey Spence won in straight sets 7-6, 6-4 to give OSU the 4-2 victory. B1G Tourney Finals bound โ— The Buckeyes will play for the title at noon Sunday in Columbus. #GoBucks pic.
