Instant draft grade: What to make of Saints picking Jeremiah Wright?

The New Orleans Saints have selected guard Jeremiah Wright in Round 4 of the 2026 NFL Draft -- a big, powerful interior presence with intriguing upside at the position. As Day 3 continues to move quickly, we’re handing out our initial grade for the pick. Grade: B- The Saints continue to add depth to the offensive line with Jeremiah Wright, bringing size, strength, and developmental upside to the interior.

Wright is a powerful blocker who can overwhelm defenders when working within his frame and generate movement in the run game. His biggest concern is athletic limitations against quicker interior rushers, which could create some issues in pass protection at the next level. Still, in Round 4, this is a solid value pick with traits worth developing.
