Now, the youngster must be feeling pretty good. Musiala played a key role in helping his squad secure a dramatic 4-3 comeback victory over Mainz 05. It took an insane mentality to climb out of a three-goal deficit, just like the mindset Musiala has used to fight through the stumbling blocks he face just a few weeks ago in trying to find his form.

“It’s a good thing for all of us that we haven’t let our mentality drop despite securing the title. We could’ve easily lost 0-3 and moved on. But the fact that we still have the hunger to turn the game around, to celebrate as if we had just won the title, is a good feeling.

We need this feeling and this mentality for the coming weeks if we want to win even more,” Musiala said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia ). Bayern Munich has relied on its mentality and heart many times this season. The win over Mainz 05 was just the latest example of that sense of fight.
