Aidan Bouman set multiple program records at USD and now could be a late Day 3 target for the Packers as they look for a backup QB.

The Green Bay Packers have five picks for Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft, including a pair of seventh-round picks. They could use one of those picks to target a quarterback. A potential target with the 255th overall pick could be Aidan Bouman, who has ties to the Green Bay Packers organization.

Aidan's dad, Todd Bouman, spent a minute with the Packers serving as the backup to Brett Favre when Aaron Rodgers hurt his ankle in 20026. Bouman, a Minnesota native, started his college career at Iowa State before transferring to the University of South Dakota in 2022. Bouman finished his career in Vermillion as the program's all-time leader in passing yards and completions.

"My time at USD made me who I am," Bouman said. "I matured into a confident quarterback, but more importantly, a man. I am forever indebted to that University.

" At 6-5, 218 pounds, the USD quarterback is well built. The southpaw quarterback finished this past season with 2,876 yards and 26 touchdowns. "My greatest strength is my mental game," Bouman said.
