UCLA Softball’s Megan Grant Breaks Program Single-Season Home Run Record
Earlier this month, Megan Grant flew directly from her softball game in Los Angeles to Phoenix, Arizona to celebrate her UCLA women’s basketball teammates winning the program’s first NCAA title. Grant, who is a two-time NFCA All-American in softball, played 14 games with UCLA women’s basketball team. The senior guard totaled six points, four rebounds and an assist across 33 minutes during the 2025-26 season with the Bruins.

Mandatory Credit: Jayne Kamin-Oncea-Imagn Images Now, Grant Is Back on the Softball Field On Friday, the 2025 All-Big Ten First Team selection broke UCLA’s single-season home run record when she hit her 32nd homer of the season during UCLA’s 5-1 victory over Washington. Grant passed Stacey Nuveman’s 31 home run record from 1999.

In addition to setting a new UCLA record, Grant broke her own Big Ten single-season home run record which was previously 26 home runs in 2025. Senior infielder Jordan Woolery is also on track to pass Nuveman’s former record. As of Friday, Woolery has hit 30 home runs this season.
