2026 NFL Draft: Day Three Discussion Thread for Alabama fans
The true marathon begins today.
Fans begin to file into the standing room section of the NFL Draft Theater ahead of Night 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft outside Acrisure Stadium, Friday, April 24, 2026 in Pittsburgh, Pa. | Ethan Morrison / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images After two days, Alabama had three players selected in the top 50: Kadyn Proctor, Ty Simpson, and Germie Bernard. after that, though, things cooled down, and the Tide had nobody selected in the rest of the third round.
Today, the draft goes through the final frenzy of round 4-7 all in a row. The draft coverage shows get more and more behind and discombobulated, to the point that theyโre often still talking about picks that are 5+ picks behind whatโs live, then skipping over a few. Today, you might as well just put the broadcast on in the background and go about your day, just checking in on occasion.
Still, things start early, at 11:00 a. m. Central Time, and the pick timer is shortened to make things really speed along.
For Alabama, the Tide still has a good handful of players hoping to hear their names called. LT Overton is most likely to be first due to his pedigree and upside, but a poor production as a senior may have hurt him. Past that, Tim Keenan, Deontae Lawson, Parker Brailsford, and Justin Jefferson will all probably get their name called at some point, but who knows when itโll be.
