Nebraska softball (39-6, 19-1) welcomed Iowa (25-24, 6-14) to Lincoln for a three-game series, starting with a Friday doubleheader. The Huskers swept the Hawkeyes on Friday, taking the series and extending their winning streak to 14. Nebraska started the day with a 9-1 run-rule victory in six innings.

Despite Iowa scoring in the top of the first, the Huskers quickly took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the inning before scoring six more runs. The team finished the game with 13 hits. Hannah Camenzind led Nebraska in the first game, going 4-for-4 with four RBIs.

Ava Kuszak , Jesse Farrell and Kacie Hoffmann all contributed an RBI. Hoffmann finished 2-for-3 while Kuszak and Farrell each earned one hit. Hannah Coor batted 2-for-3 and scored three times.

Jordy Frahm (14-4) won in the circle, pitching a complete game and throwing 11 strikeouts against one hit and one run across 6. 0 innings. Nebraska then took game two 5-2 in front of a program-best crowd of 3,396 fans.
