Penn State will wrap up spring football practices with the annual Blue-White Game on Saturday in Beaver Stadium.
Penn State football will conclude its spring practice schedule on Saturday with the annual Blue-White Game. Or, as is the case this spring, the Blue-White Practice. New head coach Matt Campbell is going with a bit of a scaled-back approach to the traditional spring game activity, a major draw for fans in the offseason most years.
While the Blue-White Game has typically been one of the highest-attended spring games in college football more years than not, Campbell and the new-look Nittany Lions will go about things a bit differently this year with more of a live practice situation as opposed to a spring game. What is the new format for the Blue-White Game? Matt Campbell explained how he will run Penn State's final spring practice.
He explained that the first half hour of the open practice will be a typical practice setting with stretching and drills. After that, Campbell said he envisions a game-like setup, although it was unclear just how much of a real game will actually be played. And with the weather not looking to be too great, the plans could be impacted.
Is the Penn State spring game on TV? No. The Penn State spring football game will not be airing on TV.
