The latest Cleveland Browns news and notes from around the NFL in the Saturday Dawg Chow.

A functional period of free agency got things moving in the right direction, but Berry needed to put in the work and come out of the 2026 NFL Draft with some clear upgrades to the roster.

Through the first three rounds of the draft, it appears that Berry may be taking delivery of a “Mission Accomplished” banner in time for his post-draft press conference. After addressing the offensive line and wide receiver position in the first round, Berry went back to work on Friday night and added another wide receiver in Washington’s Denzel Boston in the second round. He then gave defensive coordinator Mike Rutenberg his much-needed third safety in Toledo’s Emmanuel McNeil Warren.

Finally, Berry closed out the night by trading with the New York Giants to move out of the third round, only to trade with the Los Angeles Chargers to move back into the third round to select Florida offensive tackle Austin Barber. It has been an impressive two days from Cleveland’s general manager, and there is still an entire day – and five draft picks – on tap for today. Let’s get the day rolling with the latest edition of the Saturday Dawg Chow.
