Guti: “Mourinho return to Real Madrid? He’s not in his prime”

Former Real Madrid player José María Gutiérrez ‘Guti’ talked to the press and addressed the rumors suggesting that José Mourinho could return to the Spanish capital this summer. “Mourinho is a great coach, but I think his prime is over, in the sense that he comes from Fenerbahce, he caught Benfica at a very bad time and I think there are coaches in better form than Mou that I would sign before him,” said Guti during DAZN’s broadcast of Friday’s match between Betis and Real Madrid. While some fans could be intrigued by the possibility of Mourinho’s return, they should take these rumors with a grain of salt as it doesn’t seem to be a very realistic possibility.
