Jazzy Francik threw her third career no-hitter, and Isa Torres homered twice to power No. 13 FSU softball past Georgia Tech, 4-0.

Jazzy Francik authored the third no-hitter of her career and Isa Torre s slugged two home runs as No. 13 Florida State shut out Georgia Tech 4 -0 on Friday night. Francik was dominant from the circle, tossing seven no-hit innings while allowing only two walks and striking out one.

The junior improved to 18-2 on the season as the Seminoles moved to 41-7 overall and 16-3 in ACC play. Torres continued her torrid stretch at the plate by opening the game with a leadoff home run, her fourth in the last seven games. The junior struck again in the sixth inning with another solo blast, her eighth home run over the last 11 games after never surpassing nine in a season during her first two years.

The Seminoles added more insurance later in the inning when Jaysoni Beachum singled and Anna Hinde walked. Bella Ruggiero followed with a clutch single to drive in pinch runners Angelee Bueno and Madi Frey, pushing the lead to 4-0. Georgia Tech (29-23, 10-12) managed just the two walks against Francik, who retired the final 11 batters she faced to seal the no-hitter.
