Georgia Bulldogs tight end Oscar Delp has been drafted by the New Orleans Saints. Delp was selected with the 73rd overall pick in the third round of the 2026 NFL draft . The talented tight end joins the NFL following an excellent four-year career at UGA.
At 6-foot-5, 245 pounds, Delp is an extremely talented tight end that can make an impact throughout his rookie campaign. A former four-star recruit, Delp was a consistent contributor on the Dawgsโ offense from 2022-2025. The tight end recorded 261 yards and one touchdown on 20 receptions in 2025, as Delp was widely regarded as the one of the top tight ends remaining on the board prior to the Saints drafting him at No.
73. Delp flashed NFL potential on numerous occasions. The star tight end is an excellent athlete with elite speed for his size, as Delp now finds himself in prime position to be a consistent target on the Saintsโ offense next year.
Delp will look to continue playing at a high level in New Orleans. Georgia has had a multitude of playmakers selected in the early rounds of the draft this weekend in addition to Delp.
