However, by Friday night, general manager Joe Hortiz had transformed that limited capital into a deeper roster of nine total selections through a series of trades. In the second round, the Bolts traded the 55th overall pick to the Patriots.
In exchange, they moved down to No. 63 and picked up a fourth-rounder (No. 131) and a sixth-rounder (No.
202). Shortly after, Hortiz swung another trade, sending the 86th overall pick (Round 3) to the Browns . This move netted them No.
105 (Round 4), No. 145 (Round 5), and No. 206 (Round 6).
