What do you make of the New Orleans Saints picking Georgia Bulldogs tight end Oscar Delp in Round 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft? Here's our grade.

The New Orleans Saints have selected tight end Oscar Delp with the No. 73 overall pick in Round 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft, adding yet another explosive weapon for quarterback Tyler Shough as the team continues to invest heavily on the offensive side of the ball. Weโ€™ll once again break down the selection, share our thoughts on the fit, and hand out an initial grade for the Saintsโ€™ newest addition.

Grade: B- The Saints adding Oscar Delp brings another dimension to the teamโ€™s passing offense. An extremely athletic player at the position, Delp shows a natural ability to separate and create mismatches as a receiver. His limited college production can be a concern, but the traits and upside are clearly there.

He also has areas to improve as a blocker, though that can be developed with coaching at the next level. Learning alongside Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant could be a major benefit, especially since the receiving aspect of the position is already one of his strengths. Delp should have an opportunity to earn early snaps in two-tight end sets and obvious passing situations.
