Dallas Cowboys draft Michigan's Jaishawn Barham in round three
Michigan's Jaishawn Barham, a linebacker-edge rusher, was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the third round of the NFL draft.
Michigan football saw two outgoing players selected in the second round of the 2026 NFL draft, but neither was edge rusher Jaishawn Barham. It hadn't been a surprise that his compatriot, Derrick Moore, was picked ahead of him, but it was something of a shock that tight end Marlin Klein ended up being a day two selection. Barham had to wait, perhaps a little longer than he anticipated.
But altogether, not so long as to make it to the weekend. Having lasted into the third round, the linebacker-edge rusher ended up being selected by a franchise that seems to pick Wolverines every other draft. The Dallas Cowboys ended up selecting him with the No.
