The Dolphins used the 94th pick to select Louisville wide receiver Chris Bell. Bell is a possession-type receiver who will give Dolphins quarterback Malik Willis a big target in the middle of the field โ assuming Bell gets on the field. He sustained an ACL tear late in the 2025 season and could miss most or all of the 2026 season.
Daniel Jeremiah ranked Bell as his 68th prospect and stated during the analysis after the pick that Bell could have been a first-round pick if not for the injury. Ian Rapoport stated after the pick that Bellโs doctors have said he is ahead of schedule in his recovery, he is already running at full speed, and he could be ready for the start of the season. The Dolphins may take it slowly in bringing him back, but they seem to have gotten a value player late in the third round.
The Dolphins previous selections have included tackle Kadyn Proctor and cornerback Chris Johnson in the first round, linebacker Jacob Rodriguez in the second round, and wide receiver Caleb Douglas and tight end Will Kacmarek in the third round. In his four-year career at Louisville, Bell caught 151 passes for 2,166 yards and 12 touchdowns. He had 72 receptions for 917 yards and six touchdowns in 11 games played last year.
