Ohio State corner Davison Igbninosun taken in 2nd round of NFL draft
Ohio State cornerback Davison Igbinosun was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the second round of the 2026 NFL draft on Friday night.
The 2026 NFL draft is becoming an infomercial for the Ohio State football team. Already, there have been seven players selected in the first two rounds in Pittsburgh, and the latest of those is cornerback Davison Igbinosun . He was taken by the Buffalo Bills with the No.
62 pick, just inside the second round. Igbinosun came to Ohio State as a transfer from Ole Miss . His first two seasons at Ohio State were solid enough, but they did not quite live up to the high expectations coming in.
He was always a strong corner and able to keep tight coverage, but he got flagged for pass interference way too much as he had a tendency to grab after getting beaten on cuts. He cut down on the penalties a ton in his senior season, which gives him serious consideration as a top cornerback in this year's draft class. If he can get his penalty problem fully under control, he's a strong multi-year starter at the NFL level.
If he can't quite stay with elite receivers making cuts, then he'll be a serviceable cover back for the second or third receiver. Buffalo just became a no fly zone š« @DaveIgbinosun | @BuffaloBills pic. twitter.
