The Jets don’t have their third-round pick, however, which was used two offseasons ago in the Haason Reddick trade that proved to be a disaster for New York.
With the 2026 NFL Draft coming up, let’s revisit that trade and see what New York gave up. Reddick was a non-factor for the Jets after being traded there in the 2024 offseason. He was a holdout to start the season after having displeasure with his contract, and missed the first seven weeks of the year. Reddick finally showed up to work after that after agreeing to a contract adjustment with the Jets.
He ended up being a regular on defensive after that, playing in the final 10 games of the year, while recording 14 tackles, two tackles for loss, and a sack for the Jets. In 2025, Reddick signed a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in free agency, but struggled there as well, recording only 2. 5 sacks in 13 games with the team.
