He earned first-team all-Big Ten honors, playing in all 14 games with 43 receptions for 448 yards with two touchdowns. Klare spent the previous three seasons with the Purdue Boilermakers, earning third-team all-Big Ten honors in 2024. Klare had 39 receptions for 637 yards and five touchdowns as a senior at St.

X. NFL. com's Lance Zierlein called Klare a "highly athletic, pass-catching tight end capable of earning volume targets on the pro level.
