Following their trade of Jonathan Greenard to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Vikings now have three selections in this third round. They have their own pick at #82 overall, and they now have back-to-back selections at the end of the round at #97 and #98.
The Vikings still have plenty of needs they have to address with these selections, and it’s going to be interesting to see what they do with them, particularly in light of Greenard’s departure. Are they going to have to look more seriously at the edge position than they had been previously? The picks are going to be coming fast and furious now, as teams only get five minutes between picks in this third round, so we’ll do our best to keep up with everything and bring the latest news to you as quickly as we’re able.
We hope that you’re enjoying our coverage of this year’s draft here at The Daily Norseman, folks, and we still have quite a bit of it left to bring you, so feel free to hang out here with us and take it all in!
