The Browns drafted a WR in Denzel Boston to pair with fellow rookie KC Concepcion.

The Cleveland Browns entered the 2026 NFL Draft with a big need at one important position — wide receiver. To say they addressed that need would be an understatement after the team used its second first-round pick on WR KC Concepcion and followed that up by taking WR Denzel Boston in Round 2. This could be the future at wide receiver in Cleveland and the Yahoo Sports crew talked about the Boston addition on the Yahoo NFL Draft live show.

Matt Harmon grouped some of the top WR prospects into buckets according to archetype and says Concepcion and Boston could not be more different when it comes to flavors of wideout. Boston has the size on the perimeter and Concepcion is the small, speedier separator. Harmon also sees them as interchangeable within this new Browns offense under head coach Todd Monken.

Harmon has Zay Flowers as a common comparison for Concepcion in the NFL. But the Browns were able to add two talented receivers to the mix with TE Harold Fannin Jr.

, and WRs Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman. Jeudy can do a few things well when it comes to running routes but the addition of Boston and Concepcion, says Harmon, will give the rookies expanded roles on the Browns. The analyst sees the young duo as more reliable than Jeudy.
