Steelers trade up to No. 47 pick in NFL Draft, select Alabama WR Germie Bernard
The Pittsburgh Steelers select the Alabama wide receiver.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have traded up in the NFL Draft, moving up to the No. 47 pick in a trade with the Indianapolis Colts. With the 47th pick, Pittsburgh selected Alabama wide receiver Germie Bernard.
Per Adam Schefter , the Steelers traded picks 53, 135, and 237 to the Colts in order to move up to select the Crimson Tide wideout. Bernard caught 64 passes in 2025 for 862 yards and seven touchdowns. With the current state of the Steelers’ wide receiver room, Bernard could slot in as the team’s top slot receiver and WR3 right away.
