Big man Ousmane N'Diaye commits to Kentucky basketball, Mark Pope

Mark Pope and Kentucky basketball landed a commitment from Ousmane N'diaye McBride, who spent last season playing overseas in Lega Basket Serie A.

LEXINGTON โ€” Kentucky basketball and coach Mark Pope went overseas for the newest addition to the 2026-27 roster. Ousmane N'Diaye, a 6-foot-11, 210-pound forward from Senegal, committed to UK on Friday. His commitment was announced by the UK Sports Network's official account on X , the platform formerly known as Twitter.

N'Diaye spent last season playing in Lega Basket Serie A, a professional league in Italy. He suited up for Cremona, averaging 10. 2 points and 6.

7 rebounds in 27. 3 minutes per game. N'Diaye joins transfer portal pledges Zoom Diallo and Alex Wilkins as well as incoming freshmen Mason Williams and Zyon Hawthorne as newcomers for UK in 2026-27.
