Cowher discussed Tomlin's move from the sideline to studio during Friday's appearance on "The Dan Patrick Show. " The 68-year-old hasn't returned to coaching since ending his Steelers tenure in 2006. "I think a lot of guys who have left have come back.
I did not come back," Cowher said. "My situation was a little bit different than those guys. " However, Cowher doesn't see the same scenario unfolding for Tomlin.
