The brothers became the first sibling duo to be selected in the first round of two different professional sports, Jordyn, 21, for football and Jaylon, 23, for basketball. Jaylon was selected 20th overall by the Cavaliers in the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft. "Yeah, hopefully we can talk at halftime of his game or something, but it's going to be real nice," Jordyn told PEOPLE at Point State Park in Pittsburgh. The first round of this year's draft unfolded at the same time the Cavaliers visited the Toronto Raptors in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series. Cleveland currently holds a 2-1 series lead even after Thursday's 126-104 loss.
Jaylon provided his younger brother with plenty of draft night advice, including how to navigate the emotions that come with the unpredictable, yet thrilling process. "Yeah, just having that fine medium between the ebbs and flows," Jordyn said of his brother's advice. "Some stuff's going to go your way, some stuff's not going to go your way.
