Dame Sarr announced he will be returning for the 2026-27 season with Duke basketball and head coach Jon Scheyer . Duke announced the return of the 6-foot-8 wing out of Oderzo, Italy on Friday, April 24. Sarr was a key part of Duke's part Elite 8 run in 2025-26, starting in 30 of 38 games.

John's. Sarr is one of five returners for Duke next season. Cayden Boozer, Caleb Foster, Patrick Ngongba II and Sebastian Wilkins will also be returning for the Blue Devils.
