2026 NFL Draft: Pittsburgh breaks Detroit's Round 1 attendance record
Pittsburgh set a new all-time attendance record for night one of the NFL Draft with 320,000 fans, surpassing Detroit's 2024 mark.
Detroit, you've been topped. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Pittsburgh set the all-time attendance record for night one of the draft, with 320,000 fans on Thursday night, besting the 275,000 mark set in downtown Detroit in 2024 . The 2026 NFL Draft is being held outside of Acrisure Stadium, home of the Steelers.
Following an impressive showing from the Detroit faithful, the city maintained its record through the 2025 draft, held in Green Bay, when 205,000 showed up for Round 1. Pittsburgh broke the all-time round one attendance record with 320,000 fans tonight, topping the 275,000+ who attended in Detroit in 2024, per the NFL. pic.
