Ryder Cup 2027 tickets sell out in record time for Irish fans; not everyone happy about it

Tickets for the 2027 Ryder Cup are selling fast โ if you can get them. Daily match-day tickets for the 2027 Ryder Cup, to be held at Adare Manor in County Limerick, Ireland, next September, were available on Friday via an exclusive priority window for residents of the island of Ireland. According to a press release, they sold out in under an hour today.
Practice day and weekly tickets were also available in the exclusive Irish window, which sold out in under four hours. More than 150,000 people from across the island of Ireland had pre-registered for early access, with a limited number of tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis from 11 am local time. But not everyone was happy with the process.
Several people posted on social media that the site wasn't ready to handle the demand. The Irish Independent reported that more than 57,000 people were waiting in the digital queue on the Ryder Cup Europe website as of noon local time. Jim Furyk to be named 2027 U.

Ryder Cup captain for second time "We are aware of a handful of individual user issues but there are no widespread technical problems with today's sale," a spokesperson for Ryder Cup Europe said, but some in the queue received messages stating, "We are experiencing technical difficulties. We are currently working hard to fix the issues.
