Peter Schrager affirms Sean McVay is a 'Ty Simpson fan' after subdued reaction
Sean McVay didn't seem very excited about the Rams' selection of Ty Simpson during his press conference, but Peter Schrager affirmed he's a fan.
Sean McVay and Les Snead met with the media on Thursday night after drafting Ty Simpson with the 13th overall pick in Round 1. Snead spoke highly of Simpson during the press conference, but McVay’s answers were brief and his body language didn’t resemble what you’d usually see from a coach who landed his next franchise QB. Fans and analysts took notice of McVay’s lack of excitement over the pick, questioning whether he was on board with it.
Peter Schrager is here to diffuse any concerns about a rift in the Rams ’ building. He said on ESPN’s “Get Up” that McVay likes his new quarterback. “As much as McVay was doing all that, trust me.
