Wisconsin football adds 2027 quarterback, son of notable former Badger
Wisconsin football landed a commitment from class of 2027 quarterback Jack Sorgi on Friday morning. Notably, Jack Sorgi is the son of former Wisconsin quarterback Jim Sorgi, who played for the program from 2000-03. 247Sports lists the class of 2027 signal-caller as a four-star recruit.
He's specifically ranked as the No. 330 player in the class, the No. 23 quarterback and the No.
7 recruit from Indiana. Wisconsin wins Sorgi's recruitment after the quarterback was previously committed to Louisville . He decommitted from the Cardinals in early March and now commits to the Badgers nearly two months later.
He's also slated to take an official visit to Wisconsin on May 29. Sorgi is Wisconsin's ninth commit in the class of 2027. The group was already ranked within the nation's top 20 before Sorgi's addition; it should continue to rise in the coming days.
