Broncos currently have room to sign 10 undrafted free agents
This is subject to change, but the Broncos currently have room to sign 10 UDFAs following the draft.
The Denver Broncos are going into the 2026 NFL draft with 73 players on their 90-man offseason roster. The Broncos currently hold seven picks , and if they make exactly seven picks (which isn't guaranteed due to possible trades ), the roster would be at 80 players coming out of the draft. That would leave room to sign 10 undrafted free agents to fill out the 90-man offseason roster.
However, it's not uncommon for Denver to reach agreements with more UDFAs than they have room for, then cut bottom-of-the-roster players to make room for the new rookies. So it wouldn't be surprising to see the Broncos add more than 10 UDFAs following the draft. Denver has a great history of UDFAs making the 53-man roster, with linebacker Karene Reid being a recent example from 2025.
At least one UDFA has made the Broncos' active roster in 21 of the last 22 years. Denver's list of all-time great UDFA signings includes wide receiver Rod Smith, cornerback Chris Harris, outside linebacker Shaq Barrett and running back C. J.
Anderson, who all won at least one Super Bowl with the club. Social : Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X ! Did you know : These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans .
