The first round of the 2026 NFL Draft is in the history books as 32 prospects heard their name called by a team on Day 1 of the event. There is a lot more still to go and the New York Jets still have picks to go even after the trio of prospects that headed to New York in Round 1. The Jets used the No.
2 and 16 selections they entered the draft with on pass rusher David Bailey and tight end Kenyon Sadiq, respectively. After a trading back up to the No. 30 pick in a deal with the San Francisco 49ers, New York ended up added wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr.
