Social media reacts to Kadyn Proctor's selection in 2026 NFL draft
Kadyn Proctor became the latest Alabama offensive lineman drafted into the NFL on Thursday night, selected in the first round.
On Thursday night, Kadyn Proctor became the first Alabama Crimson Tide player selected in the 2026 NFL draft. Proctor was selected with the No. 12 overall pick in the first round, drafted by the Miami Dolphins.
His selection was just a pick after former Alabama safety Caleb Downs at No. 11 to the Dallas Cowboys, as well as one before Crimson Tide quarterback Ty Simpson to the Los Angeles Rams at No. 13.
A three-year starter at left tackle for Alabama, Proctor's selection marks the third-straight year the Crimson Tide have had an offensive lineman drafted in the first round of the NFL draft. Proctor joins Tyler Booker from a year ago, as well as JC Latham in 2024. Following is a look at how social media reacted Thursday night to the Dolphins selecting Proctor in the NFL draft.
