Entering the night with the 11th and 30th picks in the first round, the Dolphins have sent the 11th pick to the Dallas Cowboys.
Miami was on the clock when the trade was made. The Dolphins only moved back one spot with the trade, dropping to the 12th position and adding picks 177 and 180 in the fifth round in the deal. Miami is undergoing a massive franchise rebuild this offseason, starting with changes to the front office and head coach.
New general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley, both moving to Miami from the Green Bay Packers, are already starting to shake things up with this trade, adding additional draft picks for a team whose roster is full of holes. Miami is immediately on the clock with the 12th pick. They are next on the clock with the 30th overall pick.
