Olympian Calli Haugher-Thackery Runs Boston Marathon While 22 Weeks Pregnant, Her Third Marathon This Pregnancy

Hauger-Thackery, 33, is currently 22 weeks pregnant with her first child and competed in the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 20. She is expecting a baby boy with her husband, Nick Hauger, this August.
The race is the Olympian marathoner's third marathon since getting pregnant. She first competed in the Honolulu Marathon in December 2025, unaware she was pregnant. The next month, she knew she was in her first trimester and ran the Houston Marathon, which she won in a time of 2:24:17.
Third time's the charm for her, she explained to Runner's World , and the April 20 race will be her โlast proper raceโ for a while. โThe body will need recovery more than normal at the minute. " She explained that training for marathons, even while pregnant, was a necessity.
โIt would almost be weird for me to just stop training and not have any goals,โ she said. โBecause I race a lot, it's just what I know. It's what fires me up.
