An entire weekend (much longer than that obviously) is devoted to teams picking players. The draft is, in a literal sense, a reading of names as they are submitted to the NFL by its given teams. How is it possible then that this event continues to balloon?
Pittsburgh is overrun with NFL fans right now seeking to be a part of it all. What is it about this whole thing that has everyone so consumed? The legendary Scott Hanson took some time to join SB Nation on draft eve to talk about it all and noted that the way media works in today’s day and age obviously plays a big role in it all.
