FSU extends offer to 2028 cornerback from Pennsylvania
The Florida State Seminoles have extended an offer to 2028 cornerback Kia Jones Jr. out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
2028 cornerback Kia Jones Jr. has seen his recruitment pick up since January. The offers have been rolling in from programs such as Mississippi State, Houston, California, and West Virginia, to name a few.
This week, the Florida State Seminoles have added their name to the offer list for Jones. He announced his offer on social media. "Blessed to receive an offer from Florida state university," said Jones .
He's seen by many as a cornerback, but Jones also takes snaps at quarterback for Seton LaSalle High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Back in January, Jones competed in the 7-on-7 battle tournament in Miami. At the moment, the 6-foot-1, 170-pounder isn't a ranked prospect.
However, Jones has done enough to gain attention from some pretty notable programs, and he can thank his versatility as a player for that. With an offer on the table, look for FSU to try to get Jones on campus soon.
