Alex Cora has been changing the Boston Red Sox 's lineup on a daily basis lately , trying anything and everything to get the offense going. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked . The Red Sox have scored two runs or fewer in five of their last six games, going 2-4 during that span.

After losing their last two games against the New York Yankees, Cora is switching up the lineup again on Thursday as Boston tries to salvage the series finale. Roman Anthony will miss a second straight game with back soreness, leaving the Red Sox without one of their best hitters. After replacing Anthony in the leadoff spot with Ceddanne Rafaela on Wednesday, Cora is moving Jarren Duran up to leadoff and dropping Rafaela to the two-hole.

He's just 1-for-9 there so far, but Cora seems to be rewarding him for his threehit game on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Rafaela will bat second for the second time this year.
