Projecting Duke basketball's starting lineup for the 2026-27 season

A couple of key additions could make their way into Duke's starting lineup to start next season.

Duke head coach Jon Scheyer will have a plethora of different lineups he can go with next season as the Blue Devils return experience at every positions while adding one of the top guards in college basketball in Wisconsin’s John Blackwell. But how will the Blue Devils look when they first take the court? We predict how Duke’s starting lineup may look for next season.

Cayden Boozer (Guard) - Often overlooked due to the play of his twin brother, Cameron, this past season, Boozer returns after a strong freshman season that ended with one disastrous mistake. He avereaged 7. 7 points, 2.

3 rebounds and 3. 0 assists per game while shooting 50 percent from the floor. With a year under his belt, he should be even better.

John Blackwell (Guard) - The addition of Blackwell means that either Boozer or Caleb Foster, who is returning for his senior season, will have to come off the bench. I think it will be Foster, who is the ultimate teammate and will fill any role Scheyer asks. In Blackwell, the Blue Devils are getting a massive scoring threat.
