Field Yates goes OL for Rams in final mock draft

The Rams could find their offensive line cornerstone at No. 13 instead of an offensive playmaker.

It's draft day, and everyone will soon find out what the Los Angeles Rams ' plans are for the No. 13 pick. In his final mock draft before the first round starts, ESPN's Field Yates went with Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano despite USC receiver Makai Lemon and others still on the board.

Those two positions seem to be the ones experts are waffling between for L. A. , but Yates likes Fano's potential to play all five offensive line positions as a cornerstone for the team's future and to keep Matthew Stafford upright in 2026.

Is there a decided need right now for the Rams along the offensive line? There isn't, but Fano is a good enough player and there is no such thing as too much offensive line depth. That's especially true for a team led by a quarterback in Matthew Stafford who lacks mobility.

Fano was an offensive tackle throughout college, but some evaluators say they believe he has the goods to play any of the five positions. Fanu is a three-year starter with a good frame who started as a left tackle for Utah before playing his final two seasons at right tackle. Projected starting right tackle Warren McClendon Jr.
