A former Vol plays 33 minutes in a NBA playoff win.
No. 1 seed Detroit defeated No. 8 seed Orlando, 98-83, Wednesday in Game 2 of the NBA playoffs first round at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
The best-of-seven series is tied, 1-1, between the Pistons and Magic. Former Tennnessere basketball player Tobias Harris started and played 33 minutes for the Pistons. He recorded a double-double, totaling 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Harris also recorded one assist, two steals and two blocks. He converted 7-of-17 field goal attempts and 2-of-2 free throw attempts. Harris played for the Vols from 2010-11 under head coach Bruce Pearl .
In his one season at Tennessee, he averaged 15. 3 points and 7. 3 assists per game.
