The Oklahoma Sooners picked up their third transfer portal commitment, earning a pledge from Texas A&M guard Pop Isaacs.

The Oklahoma Sooners have done a great job of retaining talent this offseason, bringing back important pieces like Xzayvier Brown , Derrion Reid, and Dayton Forsythe . In the portal, they've added players like forward Khani Rooths from Louisville and guard Tyler Hendricks from Utah Valley. The Sooners made their third portal addition on Wednesday evening, earning the commitment of Texas A&M guard Pop Isaacs.

With the Sooners, Isaacs is on his fourth school after playing 100 games between Texas Tech, Creighton, and Texas A&M. In 2025-2026 with the Aggies, Isaacs shot 39. 6 percent from three and 42.

2 percent from the field while averaging 9. 8 points per game. In 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, he averaged more than 15 points per game.

Last season, he played in more of a rotational role after an injury-shortened 2024-2025 with Creighton, but played in 33 games for the Aggies. Of those 33 games, he went for double-digit points 17 times, including a season high 21 points in a win over Auburn. His career high is 32 points, which he recorded in a Big 12 game against BYU back at the beginning of 2024.
