Dodgers Roll Out Star-Studded Lineup in Bounceback Opportunity
The Los Angeles Dodgers announced their lineup for the second game of a three-game road series against the San Francisco Giants. LA stopped the first game of the set against the Giants on Tuesday, allowing three runs in the first inning due to some fielding mishaps. Yoshinobu Yamamoto started the game and stayed strong following the early setback, posting seven total innings and only allowing the three runs while matching his season-high strikeout total, but it wasnโt enough as the offense struggled to get going.

The Dodgers went with a pretty standard lineup for the second game of the series, putting just about all of their big stars in the batting order as they look to bounce back.
Designated hitter Shohei Ohtani will lead the line and right fielder Kyle Tucker will follow him in the No. 2 spot. Will Smith re-enters the lineup batting third, and first baseman Freddie Freeman will make his second consecutive start since returning from paternity leave in the cleanup spot.
Left fielder Teoscar Hernandez bats fifth for LA, and third baseman Max Muncy will follow him. Center fielder Andy Pages slots into the No. 7 spot and shortstop Hyeseong Kim and second baseman Miguel Rojas sit at the bottom of the lineup.
Ohtani will also be pitching for the Dodgers on Tuesday, and will look to keep his hot start on the mound going. Ohtani has a 0. 50 ERA this season, and has struck out 18 batters in as many innings.
