3 Notre Dame prospects the Bears should consider in 2026 NFL Draft
The Chicago Bears could look to their neighbors at Notre Dame when it comes to making selections at the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have become a powerhouse in college football again. With the expanded playoffs, they have an even greater chance of making it each year, despite not playing in a conference. It didn’t help them this season, but they did play in the National Championship a year ago.
No matter where they stand, however, there are always going to be high-end players who enter the NFL Draft out of Notre Dame and become prominent NFL stars. The Chicago Bears , being one of the closest teams to Notre Dame geographically, may want to think about the Fighting Irish that they have scouted when making a selection in the 2026 NFL Draft. These three stick out as potential hits for the Bears if they look down that path: Jadarian Price, RB Jeremiyah Love is Notre Dame’s top draft prospect this year.
He will be the first running back off the board, likely in the top 10. With that said, Jadarian Price is a great Notre Dame running back to consider as well. Playing in the shadow of Love was good for Price in 2025, as he still had a year that proved he’s a good NFL prospect.
Price is someone for the Bears, or anyone in the NFL for that matter, to consider with a top-100 pick. A running back isn’t the number one priority for Chicago, but another solid player at the position would be good for the depth of the offense. Ben Johnson loves running the ball to go with the passing game of Caleb Williams, so Price may be someone to consider at some point.
