Positive signals as Milan push for Leon Goretzka
Positive signals as Milan push for Leon Goretzka Serie A side Milan have constantly been linked with a move for Bayern’s Leon Goretzka, who will be a free agent in the summer. They are now making in-roads over a deal and positive signs are emerging. Daniele Longo has reported that the Rossoneri are now pushing ahead for a move.
They have secured pole position for a deal, moving ahead of Tottenham, Juventus, Napoli and Atletico Madrid. Milan have offered a three-year deal worth €5 million plus bonuses of €2 million. This is more than a year as compared to what other competitors have put forward.
The sticking point in the deal is the signing-on bonus demanded by Goretzka’s entourage, who want €10 million as of now. Now, Milan are preparing formal steps to move further ahead, with Max Allegri very keen on a move. Their mathematical qualification for the Champions League has helped, with Goretzka keen on playing that competition.
He will make a final decision in the next ten days and this has been informed to the Rossoneeri. Kaustubh Pandey I GIFN
