Will the Cowboys trade George Pickens? Team reportedly 'nowhere' with new deal
Could George Pickens get traded over 2026 NFL Draft weekend?
Could the Dallas Cowboys trade wide receiver George Pickens over 2026 NFL Draft weekend? According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, Dallas is "nowhere" with Pickens on a new contract after placing the franchise tag on him earlier in the offseason. Schefter also mentioned Dallas being fans of Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, only adding fuel to speculation Pickens could be traded.
Now, the Cowboys would undoubtedly want a first-round draft pick for Pickens, who is fresh off a 1,429-yard, nine-touchdown season in Dallas. He's the best second wide receiver in the NFL and could undoubtedly start with some teams as a top wideout option. Could Dallas shed his massive 2026 cap hit and trade for his replacement this week?
