Hulk had already undergone at least 10 major surgeries before he joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in 2009, and the ‘80s icon admitted in Netflix’s docuseries Hulk Hogan: Real American that his “body had just had enough. ” Eric Bischoff , who was previously an executive with the WWE and one of Hulk’s close friends, said that the wrestling star’s pain was debilitating.
