The top secret quarterback visitor for the Green Bay Packers has been revealed. Per Bill Huber of Packers on SI , Green Bay hosted Virginia Tech's Kyron Drones on an official pre-draft visit. Drones joins Texas Tech's Behren Morton as the team's two pre-draft visitors at quarterback.
Both are late round or undrafted free agent types. Drones, a Texas native and Baylor transfer, is ranked as the No. 424 overall player on the consensus big board.
Dane Brugler of The Athletic ranked Drones as the No. 27 overall quarterback in the 2026 draft class and a likely undrafted free agent. Drones started 32 games over three seasons as the starter at Virginia Tech.
He completed 58. 3 percent of his passes, threw 45 touchdown passes and 19 interceptions and rushed for 1,847 yards and 22 touchdowns. Drones was a team captain for Virginia Tech in both 2024 and 2025.
